The Free Speech Coalition is a trade association whose members are dedicated to freedom of sexual expression and to continued advancement of the adult entertainment industry. The Coalition is founded on these principles: that expression of sexuality is a normal and healthy part of adult life, that people by nature differ in their preferences for sexual activity and entertainment, and that the inalienable right to liberty includes the right to explore consensual forms of sexual variety and information free of government interference.

 

Coalition members also recognize that the industry has inherent opportunities to influence the lives of its performers and of consumers and that sentiments about sexual entertainment are widely divergent in our society and around the globe. Therefore, it is important to continually promote a foundation of professional and ethical practices in the industry.

 

Toward that end, the Coalition sets forth this Code of Ethics, created to clarify for members, for prospective members and for the consumers we serve the common and fundamental practices to which our Coalition aspires.
