The Free Speech Coalition Legislative Affairs Department serves two main functions; to lobby on behalf of the adult entertainment industry on a national and local level, and to inform the FSC membership of potentially serious legislation or legislative trends, current and pending.

As such, FSC contracts with lobbyists in California as well at our nation's capital. It tracks bills nationwide through our 50-state tracking service, it sponsors an annual lobby day in Sacramento California and regularly sends representaties to the nation's capital to representatives the interest of the adult entertainment industry.

The Free Speech Coalition is committed to the practice of direct democracy, and encourages its members and consumers of adult materials to make their opinions known to legislators at the local, state, and federal level. Consequently, we have developed a Consumer Advocacy Campaign. Members and Consumers simply sign on to the statement by entering their Name, Email, City, State and Zip.

FSC will add their name to our database and send email alerts when dangerous legislation is introduced in their state or community. We will also communicate, to our elected officials the broad base of support the Adult Entertainment Industry enjoys as represented by those who sign FSC's Advocacy Statement.
