Hundreds of adult content creators worried about Patreon’s new community guidelines to make its rules involving porn tougher have posted an open letter advocating for the crowdfunding platform to alter its stance.

As of Wednesday morning, about 800 individuals have signed the letter, which seeks a reversal of its new policies that threaten to shut down campaigns of those who produce porn for online consumption, including cam services.

The 800 individuals who signed the online letter at OpenLetterToPatreon.com were asked to reveal their associated organization and indicate whether they were a creator, patron or other supporter. That data is included in a Google Forms document on the site.
