AVSecure to Offer Age-Verification Update at XBIZ Berlin (XBIZ)

BERLIN — Next month’s XBIZ Berlin conference will include a timely educational workshop sponsored by AVSecure on age-verification solutions.

The U.K.’s Digital Economy Act, with its stated goal of protecting minors from adult content, has led to the introduction of regulations pertaining to age-verification controls for porn sites.

While the regulations are still undergoing final review from the British Board of Film Classification and members of Parliament, the ongoing delay presents a great opportunity to break down what this new verification process will mean for online adult operators worldwide.

On Tuesday, Sept. 11, AVSecure will offer an insider’s view on what it takes to comply with the upcoming regs, as well as an informative update on the status of enforcement. The company was recently named a finalist nominee for the 2018 XBIZ Europa Awards as Progressive Web Company of the Year.

AVSecure’s age-verification workshop is just one of numerous educational sessions and events scheduled for next month’s XBIZ Berlin show.
