Free Speech Coalition Membership Policy

As stated in Article III, Section 1 of the Free Speech Coalition bylaws, the Board may set forth and from time to time amend policies establishing rules and guidelines for membership eligibility, Board review of membership applications, and other policies governing Member rights and responsibilities.

Membership Eligibility

To be eligible for Free Speech Coalition membership, a prospective member shall be any natural person, business entity, or other organization whose work is in or in relation to the adult entertainment and pleasure products industry.

This includes but is not limited to:

  1. Producers, directors, and distributors of adult content, their employees, and their contracted staff;

  2. Manufacturers and distributors of pleasure products, their employees, and their contracted staff;

  3. Adult content creators and performers, as well as their agents, managers, employees, and contracted staff;

  4. Independent adult content creators, adult livestreamers, and other independent entertainers, sex workers, and service providers specializing in adult entertainment products and services;

  5. Platforms or other entities collaborating with or providing services to the adult entertainment industry, including but not limited to financial services, legal services, and technology and related support services;

  6. Academics, educators, and researchers specializing in social sciences, law, and other areas of study, specifically as they relate to sex, sex work, sexual health and wellness, pleasure products, and the adult entertainment industry;

  7. Non-profit organizations whose missions focus, in whole or in part, on sex worker rights, law and policy impacting the adult entertainment industry, the First Amendment and other constitutional issues, and healthcare services relating to the adult entertainment industry.
