LOS ANGELES — The Free Speech Coalition stands with undocumented workers and other immigrants at risk of deportation, imprisonment and harassment.

“We recognize the amazing contribution immigrants have made and continue to make to the adult industry,” says Eric Paul Leue, Executive Director of the Free Speech Coalition. “Any industry worker facing deportation, the revocation or expiration of visas, other immigration related harassment needs advocates who understand the unique nature of our industry and its performers. We have established relationships with non-judgmental experts working in the field, and encourage any worker or company facing immigration issues to contact us.”

The industry has created a resource database addressing some of the issues facing adult performers, from immigration attorneys and contacts at immigrant rights groups, to tips for dealing with ICE or other immigration enforcement.

“We are an industry that knows what it’s like to be misunderstood and demonized, to be harassed and jailed for how we work, to have our business and our homes raided. We have historically been a sanctuary for those who aren’t accepted, or whose work isn’t valued. The adult industry stands with the immigrants in our industry and elsewhere.”
