Porn used to be made by men, for men. xHamster wants to help change that. Porn for Women has been one of the fastest growing categories at xHamster, and over the next year, we’re committing $25K to help expand our “Porn for Women” category.

Why?
Because the big studios aren’t doing it. Women make up half of the world’s population, but only a quarter of the xHamster audience. Meanwhile, more than 90% of studio productions focus on male consumer. Not only it is the right thing to do, it’s also smart business.

How?
By finding strong female-focused filmmakers and paying them for their work! This fall, we’ll announce the first grant recipients of the xHamster Porn for Women Fund!

Who?
We’re looking for both amateur and established filmmakers. We want to see womens’ visions and womens’ fantasies. Young, old, cis, trans — we want to serve you.

For new filmmakers
Each month, one winning submission from an amateur filmmaker will be awarded $500 by our panel of judges. We will promote the video on the site, and the director on social media. Those who wish to submit a video must use the hashtag #xHamsterForWomen

Beginning September 2018

For established filmmakers
Over the course of the next year, ten $1k grants will be awarded to established filmmakers, whose proposal will be approved by xHamster, to help them create content for a female audience. A final $10k will be set aside for a co-production between an established filmmaker and xHamster.
